Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel offers up some of the most majestic panoramic views of the Inner Harbor and is located just steps away from the city’s storied waterfront, placing guests at the center of downtown Baltimore’s most exciting district.
The city of Baltimore is one of my favorite cities to visit to unwind, explore the sights and to eat Maryland crab, of course. I especially love to soak in the waterfront, the National Aquarium, Lexington Market, The Maryland Science Center, Port Discovery’s Children’s Museum and to take in an Oriole’s baseball game.
Upon arriving at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace, there is a luxury and reassurance that you picked the right hotel for yourself and for your family. Everything, from the friendly staff to quiet ambience to the room service was simply the best.
Our suite was spacious, minimalistic and simply beautiful. It had breathtaking views of the Inner Harbor. There was a large room with a queen sized Murphy bed, living area and a full sized dining table. The kids room was very spacious with two queen sized beds. The linens were soft and cozy adding more to the luxurious comfort of the beds.
We were able to take a break from our adventures to recharge in our newly renovated accommodations with high-end, innovative amenities. Our suite featured delightful views of the Inner Harbor. We enjoyed connectivity at our finger tips with multiple power and USB outlets, high speed wi-fi, 55-inch HDTVs and a new entertainment package with phone-to-TV Bluetooth connectivity. This hotel is a dream-come-true for techies.
The bathrooms were recently upgraded with Carrrera marble and luxurious showers. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I have a thing for bathrooms.
The Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace seriously has everything to make your stay the most enjoyable one. You can enjoy dining options including the restaurant Watertable and Starbucks® beverages at The Ground Floor Cafe & Bar. You can stay active and fit at the 24-hour gym. To our surprise and one of the kids favorite features—there’s even a heated indoor pool. With 30,000-square-feet of versatile event space, they offer an inspiring setting for meetings, weddings and everything in between. This hotel truly has it all.

The first night we were visiting, the hotel surprised us and treated us to a delectable ice cream bar complete with several different flavors of ice cream and delicious toppings. They also set up a summer beverage bar with several flavors of lemonade and punch. We decided to take in an Orioles game that night. And for some pre-game action, they provided us with a little mini-bar and signature Chesapeake Bay Bloody cocktail kit.
We spent our second day in Baltimore sightseeing and exploring the oldest market in the city, Lexington Market. We arrived back at our suite, where the lovely staff had arranged a family movie night with all the fixings: pizza, popcorn, snacks and a beverage bar. We were so happy to unwind and chill out in front of the big screen in the comfort of our room.
