You don’t have to go far to get away from it all and to spend a night with your favorite personalities from The Real Housewives. I find it uber relaxing to take a quick drive for a weekend getaway instead of catching a flight for a vacation. And if you’ve been following me for a while here on the blog or over on my Instagram, you know how much I appreciate a good road trip with my family. But, sometimes–a 24 hour staycation with some really good friends is what a mom like me needs to reset, recharge and rejuvenate. Staycations can be the best vacations and this one at Live! Casino and Hotel was definitely one for the books!
I indulged in a quick getaway with my friends and fellow influencers to refresh myself after a week of working and taking care of my kids. As a mother, I’ve come to recognize the importance of taking time to unplug and reset myself, and this short and sweet vacation was exactly what I needed! Between the accommodations, food, entertainment, and of course my friends, I couldn’t be happier with my mini vacation… even though I didn’t win anything at the casino this time around!
After welcoming Ella and Logan home from school, I made the short trek to the casino, where I was welcomed to my suite with a complimentary bottle of wine and some candy snacks to munch on during my stay. Yes, the suite life is sweet indeed. After snapping a few photos to share with you all, my crew and I made our way to The Prime Rib for dinner. There are so many great options at Live! Casino & Hotel, but I’m a steak girl–so you know I had to order the filet mignon. The quality of dinner was exceptional.
After dinner, my friends and I attended An Evening With The Celebrity Housewives, a sold out show at Live! Casino & Hotel. Ashley Darby, Teresa Giudice, Margaret Joseph and Sonja Morgan are just as funny, down to earth and entertaining on live on stage as they are on the small screen. It was a fun-filled show where the cast of reality personalities updated us on their lives and what goes on behind the scenes of their shows. They were as candid as they were hilarious. It was nice to get a refresher and somewhat of a sneak preview before the next season of all of their shows begin. Post show, we made our way to the casino. I wasn’t as lucky as I was the last time I visited here and I will chalk that up to beginner’s luck. But, it didn’t matter that we didn’t win any money at the casino because at the end of the night we were all very happy that we were able to spend quality time together laughing and celebrating our friend Kym’s birthday, watch an amazing show and spend another fantastic night at Live! Casino & Hotel, not to mention enjoying one of the most amazing burgers and fries (any of us have ever had before) from Bobby Flay’s Burger Palace. Like seriously, where have these burgers been my whole life?
