Autumn is finally here! Do you know what that means? Event season!
I was invited to attend Beyond The Little Black Dress at The French Embassy this past weekend. The fashion show of the season was emceed by my good friend and blogger extraordinaire, Dani Sauter of Blonde In The District.
The party started as soon as the runway show began. It was a celebration of Parisian inspired designs by local fashion designers including: Zophia, Le Bustiere, Mindy Lam, International Fashion Academy (IFA) Paris, SK Paris, and The Jarmal Harris Project. Their collections exuded an emphasis on sex appeal and seductive power in a very modern and sophisticated way.
Everything about each of the collections was formal. The clothes were fancy and formal and created to wear for a good time. The collections were both classic and futuristic. The energy of the crowd in attendance was exhilarating and engaged. The music mood was all about taking out your smart phone and capturing these amazing works of art called clothes and adding them to your holiday wish list.
I’m already looking to attending next year’s fashion show!
