Sagamore Pendry Baltimore

The Sagamore Pendry Baltimore is a brand new hotel situated in Fells Point, minutes from just about everything you could want to see or do in Baltimore. I highly recommend making this your go-to hotel in Baltimore! My family and I recently spent a weekend exploring Baltimore and we stayed at this luxurious hotel–the first and only Pendry Hotel on the entire east coast. Upon entering the hotel, I noticed it has one of the most impressive hotel lobbies and restaurants that I’ve ever experienced. The guests were all very well dressed and sophisticated. The staff and service was impeccable.

The décor is preppy and plaid, a contemporary sophistication not quite met by any other hotel I’ve ever stayed. There is a mildly masculine and sexy fragrance that fills the air, almost like there’s an air freshener dispenser filled with luxurious cologne by Tom Ford. It isn’t overpowering and it’s hardly noticeable unless you’re an olfactory sensory person like I am. I’m so in love with this hotel and we haven’t even gotten to the check-in station yet.

Whether you are traveling alone, with your friends or have your family rolling with you (like I did), this bustling atmosphere provides energy and inspiration for all things fun. Yet, the hotel still feels slightly tucked away, a perfectly quiet retreat to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the city when you’re ready to take a break.

When you pull up to the building, it looks massive—solidly built with bricks, steel and glass. It almost looks like a warehouse in the meatpacking district of New York City. The cobblestone street also reminds me of an old village in Europe. But, this is actually Baltimore Maryland. I could pinch myself.

There is a beautiful art structure featuring all the words to the Star Spangled Banner in the entranceway. Walking half way down the long hall leading to the concierge is another nice memorable piece of art on the wall that sort of contrasts to the old world feel you feel outdoors.

The room is plenty spacious, easily enough space for our family of four to sleep comfortably. Our waterfront view was awe-inspiring. The Pendry checks every box on my list of amenities for luxury hotels. It is a beautiful hotel sexy enough to spend a romantic weekend or a Girls/Guys weekend and yet down to earth and sophisticated for a family stay as well. There was a large wedding taking place at the hotel and we couldn’t even hear the party down the corridor and thru the halls, steps away from the wedding ballroom/venue. We peeked in on the reception and were truly amazed we couldn’t hear the music travel down the hall or into our room!
